Working with artist and illustrator, Chris Arnold, I was tasked with creating a large scale illustration for his annual exhibition: "Illustrate the Rainbow." Me and several other artists were given a singular color to use as the primary color featured in the illustration. (My color was "Mocha.") With around 60-70 artists, we were divided into groups to communicate amongst one another to help make our goals successful. The goal in question was making an illustration that represented the kind of imagery we were interested in as professional illustrators/designers. The biggest challenge was correctly preparing the file to be properly sized for large scale printing (42in. x 96in.) I also was part of the production team for this installation. This taught me a lot about working large scale and gave me lots of insight on how meticulous this process can be. This piece ended up on the first window of 916 S Wabash Ave.
